Auction Division

The Registered Office, as well as the Auction Division of the Company has been functioning at door no III/505A & 505B, Kumily Munnar Road, Pampumpara, 685 551, Idukki District, Kerala. The Company has been authorized by Spices Board, Cochin, to conduct e-auctioning of cardamom, once in a fortnight, alternatively at Spices Park, Puttady, Kerala and at Spices Board, Bodinayakanur, Tamilnadu and auctioneers license is having validity till 31.08.2020. Cardamom planters and traders, would pool their lots at the depots for sale and the procured cardamom would be sold at auction, conducting by the company. As per the directives of Spices Board, auctioneers should have to disburse payment to the poolers, on the 10^th working day from the date of conducting auction. SIGCC Ltd is having the privilege of disbursing timely payment, to all the poolers, on or before the stipulated time frame of 10 days.

The company has secured the number one position, for having pooled highest consolidated quantum of cardamom at auction in one financial year, consecutively for the past five years. Moreover, the company has set an all time high record, by pooling 2,09,299.00 KG of cardamom at it’s auction held on 03.10.2018. SIGCC Ltd, is the only auctioneer, to cross the two lakh mark. This shows the faith, the planters are having on the company and the quality of service rendering by the company to all the poolers..

Sri.Sajan Kurian, Chairman, is the Head of the Board, whereas the auction division has been headed by the Managing Director, Sri.S.Jeevanandan. Both of them are formerly members of Spices Board and having vast experience in the field of cardamom. The Managing Director is looking after the day to-day affairs of the company and ably supported by a committee of directors.

The Company is having 5 number of cardamom collection depots, at Idukki District, as furnished here under. Depot Managers, the back bone of auction division, are ensuring the arrivals position of cardamom, at auction, under the supervision of Auction Manager, Mr.T.Dhinesh.

With regard to queries on account of payment for the lots pooled, auction related issues, accounts, share name transfer, payment of dividend, GST and other official matters, clarification can be made with the following office bearers of the company.
